Welcome to the GVSU 心理学系!
心理学 covers such a broad range of topics that psychologists specialize in many different areas, 比如临床心理学, 咨询心理学, 发展心理学, 生理心理学, 神经心理学, industrial-organizational psychology, 教育心理学, 实验心理学, 认知心理学, 社会心理学, 以及跨文化心理学. The interests and training of the faculty members in the department cover all of these areas, so we are able to offer a wide range of courses in the undergraduate curriculum.

Because human interaction is central to many careers, students often choose to add a psychology minor to their major field of study. 心理学 minors gain increased understanding of how humans perceive, think, feel, and act, and how research contributes to our growing 这些领域的知识.
For future teachers interested in teaching psychology in high school, there is a strongly suggested set of courses that will fulfill the minor requirements and prepare students for secondary teaching.
